The first introduction of an acupressure  “face lift”  system  resulted from the early research of a Chinese monograph entitled “Utilization Manual for the Chinese Acupressure Points of the Face in Esthetics-Control of the Dynamics of the Face and the Prevention of Wrinkles.” Following its translation, research on an applicable acupressure method was instituted  by the Doctor in Miami in 1975. Interest in the new method quickly soared, clinical research began, and a seminar series was launched in 1979 in ten cities around the USA.

    Since that time, new methods have been clinically researched as to the causes of facial  wrinkles and  thier removal with imporoved modifications with frequencies (Light-Sound-Gemstones-Color) have been added to the original Chinese method. It can be readily demonstrated that the tenets of Chinese massage are just as valid today as they were centuries ago, bringing relief of muscle spasms, however this relief goes a long way further using electronically pulsed Sound & Color.

   As the decades advanced, the Doctor extended the electronically assisted massage techniques to the entire body not only for aches and pains, but also for esthetic relief of tissue puffiness and subdermal swelling.

   Eventually, the Jade Academy was formed as these techniques became an entire school of thought combining Chinese Medical principles with bioenergetics. Since the early days, hundreds of seminars and devices have been implemented all over the world. The original Jade Clinic still operates on Nevis Island servicing more than 7,000 patients to date.
